Banque Libano-Française (BLF) has received a certificate of acknowledgment from the Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for its dedication to reporting its Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions for the third consecutive year, in accordance with Decision 99/1 2013.
By voluntarily reporting its emissions, BLF aligns with global initiatives aimed at addressing climate change.
The reporting includes three key area:
• Indirect emissions from purchased electricity
• Direct emissions from stationary fuel combustion
• Business-related transport emissions
Through this reporting, BLF quantifies annual emissions of several greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O ), carbon monoxide (CO), non-methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOC), and nitric oxide (NO). This approach allows BLF to understand its carbon footprint and identify opportunities for improvement.
BLF remains committed to sustainability and encourages all stakeholders and the community to join in fostering a greener, more sustainable future.
